Thermo

Thermo

the smile-monger baits

smirk-lines, coiling into

that of the Hug-Bandit

marauding-fingers of flesh-unchartered

this goosebump-raider

is but a resolve-arsonist for

that napalm-greeting, eager-victim

this flame-throwing for

that shame-blowing

this kiss-igniter for

that stroke-fuel

this tongue-slipper for

that sun-detonator

leaving only

embers and

dueling-smirks

***

Felt like taking another crack at dVerse’s kennings prompt.

  3. The way you use kennings, alliteration, and rhyme seem to speed up your poem. It makes it more intense and conveys the urgency of desire. So very cool.

  7. Oh that napalm - greeting I know so well.I used fewer kennings than you did which gave it a better flow but I still enjoyed the punchy delivery of yours.Yours is like a rap song.
    Well done hug-bandit (giggles)!

    1. Thank you! Most of my stuff is influenced by hip-hop. I use to write lyrics back in high school a long time ago.

As for hug-bandit, well I guess I've been accused of worse! *smiles*
